Student Division

The Student Division consists of five levels for ages 7-21 years. Students attend a required number of classes each week, which gradually build in length, difficulty, and number as they progress. New students are carefully placed according to age and previous dance experience. All students are evaluated at mid-term and year-end and promoted accordingly. Average time spent in each level is one to three years. All students are encouraged to perform in our semi-annual theater performances, and some are selected for additional performances at local festivals and demonstrations.
Conservatory of Classical Ballet Student Company
Students who are seriously dedicated to their training and possibly pursuing a career in dance, may audition for the Pre-Professional Conservatory of Classical Ballet Student Company. Members receive additional training and have the privilege of working with professional dancers and choreographers. The company receives additional performance opportunities and represents the school in various outreach performances. To audition for the company, students must be registered for levels III, IV or V. There are rehearsal and production fees to participate.
